abound -

Apricot tree
popcorn blossoms.
Pulling off
the blanket
of winter.
Tilling the earth -
Soil sifts
through fingers.
Dirt,
trapped
under nails.
Weeding
and trimming.
Industrious Planting:
Flowering plants,
climbing roses,
fruit trees,
and life sustaining
crops.
Blessed birth
and maturation
of freshly
soiled starts -
hope in embryo.
